Guidebox is a mobile initiative that enables and encourages government organisations and businesses to provide access information to the visually impaired.

This service allows those with a visual disability to quickly get information about access to important buildings and their locations on their mobile phone. Information can include building entrances, floor information, help desks, transport access and potential hazards.

The Guidebox service has been trialled for a number of buildings in Slough and is undergoing a trial with Hackney Council.
